Prumnopitys Ladei

Prumnopitys laden is also known as Brown Pine or Mount Spurgeon Black Pine. It is a rare native rainforest plant that grows well in the subtropical parts of Australia but also can handle cooler climates. He is a slow-growing conifer with glossy green leaves and grows in a nice upright form. Perfect native option for formal gardens it looks great lining a driveway or as a windbreak. 

This is a super versatile plant and if you are looking for a unique plant to add to your indoor collection this guy is a good choice. Just make sure he has good drainage, sun or shade.

• What to use me for: Great addition to any garden as a small tree, in pots, as a live christmas tree and I can handle indoors 

• I grow to: 10m high, 2-4m wide 

• Where to place me: Full sun to part shade. If indoors I need a spot with bright light

• Soil Conditions: I prefer slightly acidic soil but can handle most soils as long as it is well draining 

• My features: Once established I can tolerate light frosts
