Peperomia Clusiifolia Emerald is the classic bright green Peperomia that brightens up your home but doesn’t cause a fuss. If you’re looking for low maintenance indoor plants this is a dream to grow – there’s a reason it’s been popular for so many years.

As the name suggests Emerald has dark green fleshy leaves in super high gloss, especially if you regularly wipe them down with a damp cloth (there’s a hint for you).

This is a popular plant not least because we remember them from our childhood, but because it’s low maintenance with a capital L.

Peperomia does best if you leave them to their own devices. Your job is to put Emerald in free-draining good-quality potting mix, find a bright spot in filtered sunlight, and only water when the soil has dried out.

• What to use me for I’m a great indoor plant that adds a pop of fresh green to your home. I suit warm shady borders too, filling in the annoying low height section.  

• I grow to:  I’ll reach a height of 25cm and width of 10cm. 

• I am currently: I’m a baby at 5cms tall.

• Where to place me:  I like bright, indirect light if indoors and full shade outdoors

• How far to space me:  Give me 10cms of room.

• Soil Conditions: Well-drained soil or potting mix. Remember I like a dry life.
