Ficus Elastica Robusta is a popular, easy-care rubber plant that suits most homes and requires little attention. It’s an ideal beginner’s plant that won’t wilt or die if you head off on holiday for a few weeks.

Ficus Robusta suits an office desk brightens a bookcase and brings some interest into the bedroom. Ficus suits every room in the house and enjoys bright light, but be careful not to place it in direct sunlight or it’ll burn.

Plant your babies up in free-draining soil and only water when the soil is dry down to a few centimetres. Wipe the leaves down if they get dusty and that’s it. Yes, really! If you need any more help read our blog.

If you notice the colours turn insipid, it needs a bit more light. Put it closer to a window and it’ll be back to full glory in no time.
