Ficus Binnendijkii Alii – 85mm

The Ficus Binnendijkii Alii is also known as the long-leaved fig. It’s a mass of unruly narrow green leaves that bring loads of texture to your room. It’s a great low maintenance not so fussy houseplant that purifies the air and grows slowly so you won’t have to re-pot it often.

The biggest killer of indoor plants is over-watering so take care not to drown your Ficus Binnendijkii Alii.

Only water him when the soil is dry down to a few centimetres. Other than that he doesn’t require much care. If you place him in medium to bright indirect sunlight and water once a week or less he’ll take care of the rest.

• What to use me for: I’m a great textural office plant and look amazing against a white wall. I can grow in the garden too, but get big.
• I grow to: I’ll reach 5 metres high without constrained roots
• Where to place me:  Indirect, bright light is best but I can deal with lower light levels too
• Soil Conditions:  Well-drained soil, please. 

*Please note if planted in the natural ground these plants grow very large and have invasive roots so we recommend keeping it in a pot.
