Azalea Kurume ‘Christmas Cheer’

Azalea kurume ‘Christmas Cheer’ is a spreading evergreen shrub with small narrow green leaves often turning purple in Winter. The absolute profusion of clear-red, small flowers adorns the shrub in Spring. It is ideal for pots on semi-shaded patios, in garden beds and as a flowering carpet underneath trees. Choose a sheltered location with well-drained, humus-rich soil. While most Azaleas prefer dappled sun or afternoon shade, this variety will tolerate full sun.
