Aptenia cordifolia variegata is commonly known as Baby Sunrose, Desert Rose, Heartleaf Iceplant and Dew Plant. A variegated perennial ground cover, it hugs the ground with thick succulent stems and heart-shaped, glossy mid-green leaves. It produces small red daisy-like blooms that quickly change colour to hot-pink. The flowers open and close according to sun exposure. Ideal for hanging baskets, rockeries or that dry, exposed sloping garden.
